Gemfall for iPhone

Privacy policy

Last updated 6 August 2026 · applies to Gemfall version 1.2

Gemfall is a puzzle game published by Sandrino Kelders. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version is at the top, and it is the whole story.

Gemfall collects nothing and sends nothing

The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no tracking of any kind. It has no networking code of its own — there are no HTTP requests, no Firebase, no advertising identifier and no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing that would need one.

Gemfall's privacy manifest declares no tracking and an empty list of collected data types, which is what Apple shows on the App Store listing.

What is stored, and where it stays

Gemfall saves two things, both on your device and both only so the game can pick up where you left off:

  • Your preferences — whether sound is on, your best score for each mode, and any leaderboard score that could not be submitted yet.
  • Your saved run — the level, score, powerups and board position of your current Classic run, written to a file inside the app's own storage.

Neither ever leaves your iPhone. There is no account, no sign-up and no cloud sync. Deleting the app removes both, permanently and immediately.

Game Center is the one exception, and it is Apple's

If you are signed in to Game Center, Gemfall submits your score to Apple's leaderboards for Classic and Time Attack, and asks Apple where that score ranks. That exchange is between your device and Apple. The score data is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by Gemfall — the app never sees or stores a Game Center identity of its own.

If you are not signed in to Game Center, none of this happens, nothing is sent anywhere, and the game plays exactly the same.

No selling, no sharing

There is no data to sell, and none is shared with third parties. No advertising network, data broker or analytics provider receives anything from this app, because the app never sends anything to one.

Children

Gemfall is not directed at children under 13. It collects no information that could identify anyone, of any age.

Your rights

Because Gemfall holds no personal data on any server, there is nothing to request, export or erase on your behalf. Everything the game stores is under your direct control on your own device, and deleting the app deletes all of it. For scores held on Game Center leaderboards, contact Apple — that data is theirs to manage.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Gemfall changes what it stores or sends, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change with it.
