Gemfall is a free match-3 puzzle game for iPhone — match three or more, chain the cascades, and work through endless levels. If something is wrong, broken or just confusing, write to me directly. It is a one-person project, so the mail reaches the person who wrote the code.

Common questions
- My run disappeared.
- Your run is saved on the device itself, not in an account. Deleting the app, reinstalling it, or moving to a new iPhone clears it — there is no cloud copy to restore from. Offloading the app in iOS Settings keeps the save; deleting it does not.
- My score isn't on the leaderboard.
- Leaderboards run on Game Center, so you need to be signed in to it: open the iOS Settings app, go to Game Center, and make sure it is on. If you were offline when you finished a run, the score is queued and submitted the next time the app can reach Game Center.
- How do I start a new run?
- Tap Classic from the main menu and choose Start over. That discards the saved run and begins again at level 1 — it cannot be undone.
- How do I turn the sound off?
- The speaker button at the bottom right of the board toggles sound, and the setting is remembered between sessions.
- Does it need an internet connection?
- No. The game is fully playable offline. A connection is only used to submit scores to Game Center, and that is optional.
- Is there anything to buy?
- No. Gemfall is free, with no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no ads. Nothing is unlocked by paying, because there is nothing to pay for.
- What does the app know about me?
- Nothing. There is no analytics, no tracking and no account. The full detail is on the privacy policy page.
- I found a bug, or I have an idea.
- Both are welcome at support@sandrino.nl. For a bug, the level number and what you did just before it happened are the two most useful things you can include.
